Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a Junior Elevator Maintenance Service Technician in Qatar. The role supports senior technicians in maintaining and repairing elevators and escalators, performing inspections, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting to ensure safe operation.

Responsibilities include checking safety devices, replacing defective parts, keeping tools and spare parts in order, and reporting faults.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI qualification in electrical, electronics, mechanical, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and mechanical components is required.
• Ability to understand electrical drawings and technical instructions.
• GCC or Qatar experience is preferred.

• Follow safety procedures, technical instructions, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Attend breakdown calls and emergency maintenance activities with the service team.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in machine rooms, shafts, pits, and work areas.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
  
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in elevator or escalator maintenance.
  
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical components, control systems, and safety devices.
  
• Ability to use hand tools, testing instruments, and maintenance equipment.
  
• Ability to understand basic electrical drawings and technical instructions.
  
• Willingness to learn and work under the supervision of senior technicians.
  
• Physically fit and comfortable working in elevator shafts, pits, and machine rooms.
  
• Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
  
• GCC or Qatar experience is preferred.
  
• Immediate availability with a valid QID is preferred.
