Job summary

Ecojob in Doha, Qatar is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support the finance team. You will assist with preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and processing invoices and payments in our accounting system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting role (fresh graduates welcome to apply).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Record and maintain accurate financial data in accounting software.
• Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements monthly.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Perform basic bookkeeping such as recording expenses and managing accounts payable/receivable.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
