Job summary

Arab Solutions is seeking an IT Planning Analyst (Contracts) to manage the full lifecycle of IT contracting activities, from requirements gathering to close-out. The role involves preparing and maintaining contractual documents, coordinating with SMEs, Supply, and Legal, and overseeing contract execution and close-out in line with budget and policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT contracting activities from requirements gathering to contract close-out.
• Prepare, review, and maintain high-quality contractual documents in compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with SMEs, Supply, and Legal to ensure contractual clarity, accuracy, and alignment.
• Oversee the execution of contracts and monitor the fulfillment of contractual obligations in accordance with terms.
• Provide guidance to Contract Owners during tendering phase with coordination with Supply Focal Point and Legal.
• Support Contract Owners during execution phase by ensuring timely procurement processing and SAP transactions.
• Ensure contract close-out activities are executed accurately and on time.
• Engage with stakeholders throughout all stages of the contract lifecycle, promoting effective communication.
• Provide strategic input on sourcing strategies, risk mitigation, cost optimization, and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

Job Descriptions:

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT contracting activities, from requirements gathering to contract close-out.
• Prepare, review, and maintain high-quality contractual documents in compliance with organizational policies, procedures, andapplicable standards.
• Coordinate and collaborate effectively withinternal stakeholders—including Subject MatterExperts (SMEs), Supply, and Legal—to ensurecontractual clarity, accuracy, and alignment.
• Oversee the execution of contracts andmonitor the fulfillment of contractual obligationsin accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
• Provide guidance and support to ContractOwners and Representatives during thetendering phase, through coordination with theSupply Focal Point and Legal to ensure timelyand accurate processing.
• Support Contract Owners during the contract execution phase by ensuring timely procurement processing, accurate SAP transactions, and alignment of procurement activities with theapproved IT budget (OPEX and CAPEX).
• Ensure contract close-out activities areexecuted accurately and on time, in compliancewith established policies and closurerequirements.
• Engage with stakeholders throughout allstages of the contract lifecycle, promotingeffective communication and identifyingopportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic input on sourcing strategies,ensuring effective risk mitigation, costoptimization, and alignment with businessobjectives and procurement of best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performanceto identify opportunities for improvement.Conduct comprehensive contract and supplierevaluations to ensure value delivery,performance compliance, and achievement ofbusiness objectives across all contractualengagements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science,information technology, information systems, Law, Supply Chain Management orrelated field.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ of experience in ITcontract management, procurement, orSupply chain- preferably within the oil andgas, energy or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IT contractingprinciples, procurement strategies, andvendor governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with IT-related contracts,including software licenses, SaaS, cloudservices, IT infrastructure, and cybersecuritysolutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonalskills for effective stakeholder engagementand cross-functional coordination.
• High attention to detail and strong analyticalskills, with the ability to interpret and draftcomplex contractual terms and conditions

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proficiency in ERP and contractmanagement tools (e.g., SAP)
• Solid understanding of CAPEX and OPEXbudget alignment in contract execution.
• Experience working with legal, technical,and procurement teams in a regulatedindustry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high- value and complex IT contracts in alignment with corporate governanceand risk mitigation protocols.
• Certification in contract or procurementmanagement (e.g., IACCM/WorldCC,CIPS, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of compliancerequirements and audit readiness incontract lifecycle management.
