Qualifications

• Understanding of basic IT audit concepts, risk assessment, internal controls, and audit documentation.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English; bilingual in Arabic is a plus.
• Relevant internship, university project, or school job experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and evaluating records, systems, and controls as part of IT audit engagements.
• Develop understanding of Deloitte IT Audit approach, methodology, and tools, including computer assisted audit techniques.
• Perform analytical review of audit documentation and document procedures and results.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures and internal controls over revenue and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and client personnel to support audit execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT control environment and contribute to practical recommendations.
• Manage assigned tasks and deliverables in line with work plan and deadlines.
• Proactively seek on the job learning opportunities and build technical knowledge.

During your tenure as an Intern in IT Audit, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

• Assist in testing and evaluating records, systems, and controls as part of IT audit engagements.
• Develop an understanding of the Deloitte IT Audit Specialist approach, methodology, and tools, including computer assisted audit techniques.
• Perform analytical review of audit documentation and clearly document procedures performed and results obtained.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures, as well as systems of internal controls over revenue and financial reporting.
• Work closely with engagement teams and relevant client personnel to support audit execution effectively.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve the IT control environment and contribute to the development of practical recommendations.
• Manage assigned tasks and deliverables in line with work plan specifications and agreed deadlines.
• Proactively seek on the job learning opportunities and continuously build technical and professional knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Accounting and auditing or a related field.
• Understanding of basic IT audit concepts, risk assessment, internal controls, and audit documentation is an advantage.
• Relevant internship, university project, summer position, or school job experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced professional environment.Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing). Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is a plus.
