Job summary

Deloitte Middle East is seeking an Experienced Associate for Audit & Assurance focused on External Audit in the Qatar market, with base responsibilities in Amman, Jordan. You will work within the Jordanian Resources Center–Qatar framework, building stakeholder trust while applying rigorous audit standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration across onshore/offshore teams, understanding regulatory impacts, and delivering detailed, timely audit workpapers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related field (Graduatedegree desired).
• 2+ years of experience in public auditing and accounting, preferably with Big Audit Firms.
• International accounting qualification is desired: CA, ACCA, or CPA. Preferably CA.
• Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking and Writing). Bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
• Location Amman, Jordan – Working on Qatar Market.
• Can travel to Qatar when needed.

Responsibilities

• Builds trust with stakeholders and understands service levels and expectations.
• Delivers high-quality services with awareness of regulatory impact on processes and controls.
• Prepares audit documentation and distinguishes accounting judgments from auditing judgments.
• Understanding group audit structure and referral instructions for scope of procedures.
• Works with onshore/offshore Centres of Excellence to deliver tasks and provide complete information.
• Tracks deliverables and understands the relevance of findings across EMS file.
• Helps articulate audit quality milestones and their impact on overall quality.
• Understands audit plan timing and can offer challenges to scheduling.

During your tenure as an Experienced Associate in Audit & Assurance (JRC), you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or related field.Graduatedegree is desired.

• Demonstrate ability to plan and manage engagements and people along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
• International accounting qualification is desired: CA, ACCA, or CPA. Preferably CA.
• Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking and Writing). Preference will be given to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English).
