Job summary

EY is seeking Associates and Senior Auditors to join our Doha Audit team. You will support auditing engagements, report on financial statements, and provide insights into accounting matters. We look for candidates with at least 3 years external audit experience, a degree plus ACCA/CPA/CA qualification, and proficiency in Arabic. Prior experience with a reputed firm is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements and work effectively as a team member.
• Provide support, communicate progress to senior team members, and assist in meetings.
• Prepare reports and schedules for clients and other parties while maintaining client relationships.
• Identify risks and escalate as needed; ensure high-quality work is reviewed by supervisors.
• Contribute to recruiting and people initiatives within the audit team.

EY is looking for Associates & Senior Auditors to join our Doha Audit team to support our Audit team and help our clients meet their requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. Your Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Audit team you will participate in audit engagements, working effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress. You will also help prepare for meetings with target management teams, and participate in these meetings, assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.

Actively establishing internal and external relationships, and identifying and escalating potential business opportunities for EY will be essential, as well contributing to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you'll upscale issues as appropriate. You'll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Qualification & Experience

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience in external audit
• Have strong academic record, including a degree and professional qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, CA
• Have an experience with a reputed accounting firm
• Proficiency in Arabic Language
