Job summary

Ibtechar in Doha is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead an 18-month government innovation programme in Qatar, from building the framework to implementing ecosystem and innovation initiatives. The role is full-time, on-site in Doha.

You will manage day-to-day delivery across three programme phases, coordinate a multi-firm consortium, run the project control office, and report to the client, with fluent Arabic and English required.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of public-sector innovation and transformation experience.
• Managed at least two public-sector innovation projects with verifiable client, dates and scope.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English, with the ability to lead senior meetings in both.
• Strong command of PMI-aligned project planning, scheduling and control.
• Experience with stage-gate, idea management, incubation or acceleration programmes, or ISO 56001/56002 is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery across three programme phases and act as the client’s main contact.
• Coordinate a multi-firm consortium team and ensure delivery aligned with scope, timeline and quality.
• Run the project control office, including planning, scheduling, risk management, quality assurance and reporting.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and senior meetings in both Arabic and English.
