Job summary

SGS is seeking an Industrial Hygiene professional to support the IH program across site operations in Qatar. You will conduct IH surveys, monitor hazards, and manage sampling logistics with external labs while maintaining equipment and inventories.

The role requires strong knowledge of IH disciplines, English proficiency, and experience in the Oil & Gas sector. You will participate in audits and support safety/compliance efforts on site.

Qualifications

• Graduation or higher technical diploma in IH or occupational health.
• 5 years IH monitoring experience in industry or service sector (Oil and Gas industry, refinery) or equivalent.
• Good knowledge across physical, chemical, biological and ergonomic hazards.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Computer literacy: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the IH team in implementing the Industrial Hygiene program across site operations.
• Conduct IH surveys across sites for physical, chemical, biological and ergonomic hazards.
• Maintain and operate fixed and portable IH monitoring equipment and log results.
• Coordinate sampling, dispatch to external labs, and manage IH consumables.
• Participate in plant audits, compliance audits and IH program audits.
• Conduct IH monitoring for various parameters and prepare reports.
• Perform respirator fit testing and ionizing radiation protection inspections.
• Provide admin support and data analysis using Microsoft Office tools.
