The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, at least 3 years in manufacturing, proficiency with CAD, statistics, and project management software, and strong data-driven problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in Malayalam is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement systems to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality control
- Conduct time studies and design work methods to optimize productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
- Monitor production data to identify trends and make recommendations for process changes
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Train production staff on new processes and procedures
- Conduct safety assessments and provide recommendations for safety improvements
