Job summary

Avanta Works in Al-Rayyan is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to lead a busy kitchen and deliver authentic Indian cuisine. You will create menu items, oversee prep, and ensure high quality and consistency.

The role requires 3+ years in Indian cuisine, strong leadership, and English communication. Arabic knowledge is a plus; knowledge of food costing, portion control, and inventory management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
• Proficient in preparing various Indian dishes, including vegetarian options.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
• Understanding of food costing, portion control, and inventory management.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary package of 1500$ per month, based on experience.
