Qualifications

• Experience teaching Language & Literature in an IB MYP school.
• Strong knowledge of the MYP Language & Literature curriculum, assessment criteria and eAssessment.
• Excellent literacy skills and a genuine passion for language and literature.
• Ability to design and deliver concept-driven, inquiry-based and differentiated lessons.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering high-quality, concept-driven Language & Literature lessons aligned with the IB MYP curriculum and global contexts.
• Designing engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that develop reading, writing, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Assessing student work using MYP Language & Literature criteria and providing meaningful, constructive feedback.
• Creating units of inquiry that explore language, literature, global contexts and intercultural perspectives.
• Embedding ATL skills and safeguarding and student wellbeing.
