Job summary

Lahmeyer International Group GmbH in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Project Manager / Hydrogeologist to lead water resources initiatives and groundwater investigations. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, and delivering sustainable solutions for international clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Hydrogeology or Geology with 10+ years of relevant experience and fluent English; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or similar fields.
• 10+ years of experience in hydrogeology, groundwater management, and water infrastructure projects.
• Experience planning and managing hydrogeological investigations: well drilling, pumping tests, groundwater monitoring, aquifer assessments.
• Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, contractors, budgets, schedules, risks, and client relations.
• Fluent English; Arabic skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects related to water resources management and water infrastructure.
• Plan and supervise hydrogeological investigations, including wells and pumping tests.
• Analyze data and interpret results to provide insights.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and reporting.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and contractors globally to refine solutions.
