Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities in Qatar. You will ensure systems run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, and VRF/VRV systems; reading drawings and applying ASHRAE/SMACNA/CIBSE standards; and strong teamwork to support project goals and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent.
Minimum 3–7 years of hands-on HVAC experience (project/facilities-based).
Familiar with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, CIBSE – preferred).

Responsibilities

Install, test, commission, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across facilities.
Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Ensure refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming, and leak detection are conducted properly.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as required.
