Job summary

Atkins Réalis is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician in Doha to install, test, commission, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. You will work with chiller plants, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF/VRV systems, and more, ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires 3–7 years of hands-on HVAC experience, strong knowledge of electrical and control systems, and the ability to read drawings and follow standards

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–7 years of hands-on HVAC experience (project/facilities-based).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Familiar with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, CIBSE – preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including: Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF/VRV systems Split & packaged units, exhaust/fresh air systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per schedules.
• Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming, and leak detection are conducted properly.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local codes, and project quality requirements.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and records.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as required.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent. Minimum 3–7 years of hands‑on HVAC experience (project/facilities-based). Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Experience in GCC/UAE projects preferred. Familiar with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, CIBSE – preferred).
