Job summary

Wood is currently hiring for an HSSE Officer for our office in Qatar for a short duration of 2 months. The role involves managing the project HSE interface requirements, ensuring compliance with interface documents and developing future plans.

You will communicate requirements to personnel and support HSE incident investigations and reporting. Responsibilities include developing site HSE improvement plans, coordinating audits, and promoting lessons learned across the project while ensuring

Qualifications

• HSE knowledge and experience in oil & gas projects.
• Experience with incident investigations and reporting.
• Strong planning, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual HSE improvement plans aligned with company and client objectives.
• Manage project HSE interface requirements and future plans.
• Communicate HSE interface requirements to all relevant personnel.
• Support HSE incident investigations and reporting requirements.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external audits.
• Communicate lessons learned and promote improvements across the project.
• Ensure emergency response arrangements are in place and aligned with client requirements.
• Liaise with Client HSE Reps and site Safety Reps as required.
