Job summary

Candidzone is seeking qualified HSE Officers for an ongoing Gas Lift Project in Qatar. Ideal candidates will bring 7+ years in HSE, with Oil & Gas experience, and hold QatarEnergy approval and NEBOSH certification.

Responsibilities include enforcing HSE policies, conducting inspections and audits, monitoring permits, and delivering safety trainings to site personnel. Effective coordination with management and workers is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience, including at least 4 years in Oil & Gas.
• Valid QatarEnergy Approval is mandatory.
• Must hold a valid e-PTW Certificate.
• NEBOSH certification completed on or before 2022 is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, risk assessments, and workplace safety procedures.
• Good understanding of Oil & Gas safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards at the project site
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and workplace risk assessments
• Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures
• Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy HSE requirements and applicable safety regulations
• Monitor permit-to-work activities and ensure compliance with approved safety procedures
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions for site personnel
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safe working practices
• Coordinate with project management, supervisors, and workforce to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and relevant safety documentation
