Job summary

Our Habitas Ras Abrouq is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest cleanliness and presentation standards across guest rooms, villas, and public areas.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will supervise the team, allocate assignments, conduct inspections, and coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, F&B, and other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a remote luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory or senior role at a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong understanding of luxury housekeeping standards and guest service principles.
• Experience supervising housekeeping teams and coordinating daily room assignments.
• Proactive in maintaining cleanliness, presentation and quality standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional, proactive, and service‑oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort throughout the resort.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising the housekeeping team, coordinating daily assignments, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, and ensuring that all cleaning and service standards are consistently maintained.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will work closely with Front Office, Engineering, F&B, and other resort departments to ensure smooth operations and prompt resolution of guest requests and maintenance concerns. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, organization, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional hospitality standards in a remote luxury resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations and activities.
• Allocate room and public area assignments to housekeeping attendants and ensure efficient workflow.
• Inspect guest rooms, villas, public areas, back‑of‑house areas, and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet resort standards.
• Ensure all rooms are prepared and released on time according to occupancy and operational requirements.
• Monitor housekeeping standards, procedures, and brand expectations.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to housekeeping team members to maintain high performance and service standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and follow up on any deficiencies or required corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status, arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and special requests.
• Coordinate with Engineering regarding maintenance issues identified in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services and ensure appropriate follow‑up.
• Ensure proper handling of guest belongings, lost and found items, and other housekeeping‑related procedures.
• Monitor the use and availability of cleaning supplies, amenities, linen, uniforms, and housekeeping equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and housekeeping equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, checklists, room status, and housekeeping reports.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new housekeeping colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
• Support deep‑cleaning programs, preventive maintenance activities, and special cleaning projects as required.
• Assist in preparing rooms and areas for VIP arrivals, special occasions, and resort events.
• Maintain effective communication with the Housekeeping Manager and other department heads regarding operational requirements and challenges.
• Ensure all housekeeping colleagues maintain professional appearance, conduct, and grooming standards.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive and supportive working environment.
• Perform any other duties related to housekeeping operations as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory or senior housekeeping role within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong understanding of luxury housekeeping standards, cleanliness requirements, and guest service principles.
• Previous experience supervising and coordinating housekeeping teams and daily room assignments.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on cleanliness, presentation, and quality standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with a professional and guest‑focused approach.
• Experience with housekeeping or Property Management Systems (PMS); knowledge of Opera Cloud or similar systems is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to conduct room and public area inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Front Office, Engineering, F&B, and other departments to ensure seamless resort operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop housekeeping team members.
• Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, linen management, and health and safety procedures.
• A positive, proactive, adaptable, and hands‑on approach with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in a remote luxury resort environment.
