Housekeeping Manager vacancy in Umm-Said Qatar

We are in search of a highly experienced and skilled Housekeeping Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Umm-Said, Qatar. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are kept clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including room cleaning, laundry services, and public area maintenance
• Develop and implement procedures for efficient and effective housekeeping practices
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service delivery
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained
• Monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies and linens to ensure adequate stock levels at all times
• Liaise with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests or special cleaning needs
• Maintain budget control by effectively managing labor costs, supplies, and equipment expenses

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a luxury hotel setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam or Arabic is an advantage)
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals usage, OSHA regulations

Salary: The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
