Housekeeping Manager – Al‑Rayyan, Qatar

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee all aspects of our housekeeping operations in Al‑Rayyan, Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department including scheduling, training and supervising housekeeping staff.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel or resort.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental communication and guest satisfaction.
• Create work schedules and assign tasks to staff based on occupancy levels.
• Handle guest complaints or special requests in a timely manner.
• Train new employees on housekeeping procedures, safety protocols and customer service standards.
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and equipment used in a hotel setting.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

• Flexibility to work long hours as needed.

Salary

Starting salary for this position is $1,000 per month. Salary may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
