Job description

A reputable hotel in Al-Rayyan is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As the Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping staff to ensure a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department including scheduling, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are kept clean and well-maintained according to hotel standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and address any issues immediately.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or needs from guests.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency of the housekeeping department.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by adhering to safety regulations and providing proper training.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role within a hotel housekeeping department.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Hindi.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Knowledge of housekeeping standards, procedures and techniques.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays if needed.
