Job summary

JobCenter in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our luxury hotel team. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a maintenance engineer in a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong technical skills with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Flexibility to work flexible hours and on-call shifts when necessary.
• Indian nationality preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues in the hotel's facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections of all equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis to prolong the life of equipment and prevent future issues.
• Communicate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption to guests.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities performed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance.
• Continuously monitor energy usage throughout the hotel and recommend ways to improve efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date on all safety regulations and comply with them at all times.
