Job summary

Avanta Works in Al-Rayyan, Qatar, seeks a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the hotel. You will conduct routine inspections, coordinate with external contractors, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering reliable service to guests.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years in hotel maintenance, with strong English communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify any potential issues or repairs needed
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity
• Respond promptly to guest requests for repairs or maintenance issues in their rooms or common areas
• Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and any parts or equipment used
• Monitor energy usage and recommend ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities
