Job summary

India Abroad is seeking aHotel Manager for our Doha, Qatar location, responsible for daily hotel operations to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth functioning of front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.

The role requires leadership, budgeting know-how, and strong English communication, with a track record of managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Accommodation is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel management.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in managing a diverse team.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
• Familiarity with hotel booking systems such as Opera or Fidelio.
• Must be able to legally work in Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the hotel
• Train and supervise staff to maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction
• Monitor financial performance and make necessary adjustments to meet budget goals
• Handle any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with marketing team to promote the hotel and increase occupancy rates
• Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for supplies or services needed for the hotel
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
