Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an on-site maintenance engineer to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on hotel systems and equipment.

You will work with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components, maintain inventory, and follow safety policies to protect guests and assets. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and attend to maintenance issues.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment in the hotel.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and building systems.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards or injuries.
