Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a hotel maintenance technician to repair, maintain, and monitor electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems at Al Najada Doha Hotel By Tivoli. Qualifications

• Documented training from a technical/vocational institute.
• At least 1 year operating experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics; VRF/VRV experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Check performance of refrigeration components and door closures.
• Handle maintenance requests from all departments.
• Ensure regular cleaning of fan coil unit/air-handling unit filters.
• Coordinate parts purchases with Engineering Storekeeper.
• Follow country technical regulations and safety standards.
