Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC. seeks an Electrical Distribution Technician (High Voltage) to support airfield and base operations at Al Udeid Air Base. You'll operate, maintain, repair high- and medium-voltage systems and airfield lighting to ensure continuous mission support in challenging environments.

The role requires 5+ years with high/medium voltage, airfield lighting experience, and certifications. Travel to deployed locations is 100% and you must meet DoD security requirements. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician certification required.
• Five+ years hands-on experience with high/medium-voltage distribution systems.
• Five+ years in airfield lighting (runway, taxiway, apron, navigational).
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high- and medium-voltage distribution systems.
• Maintain, inspect, and repair airfield lighting systems.
• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and infrastructure.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Ensure NEC and safety compliance; follow lockout/tagout and site regulations.
• Coordinate with airfield operations and other maintenance disciplines.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance actions and system status.
• Respond to emergency outages and mission-critical issues.
