Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an experienced Healthcare Grounds Maintenance Technician (OCN) to maintain the outdoor environment around healthcare facilities in Al Sailiya, Qatar. The role requires physical work, horticulture knowledge, and operation of landscaping equipment.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years' experience in grounds maintenance, are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work locally in Qatar. The contract is for 3 months with possibility of extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the grounds surrounding healthcare facilities, including lawns, gardens, and hardscapes.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, and planting.
• Operate landscaping equipment safely, including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools.
• Ensure proper irrigation system maintenance and watering schedules.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as required, following safety guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of exterior areas, including walkways, parking lots, and common areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and improvements.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report any incidents to the supervisor.
