Job summary

Swan Global WLL in Doha, Qatar seeks a senior Fixed Assets & Inventory Manager to lead the capital asset process, ensure IFRS compliant recording, capitalization, reconciliation and disposal across the asset lifecycle.

You will supervise the Fixed Assets Inventory team, drive accuracy in asset data, coordinate internal and external audits, and implement robust policies and controls while ensuring ERP records (Oracle/SAP) align with the General Ledger.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/CFA/MBA in Finance required.
• 15+ years accounting experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in fixed assets & inventory.
• 5+ years in hospital/healthcare sector accounting.
• 5+ years GCC accounting experience.
• ERP experience with Oracle or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain fixed asset register with accurate recording and reconciliation.
• Oversee acquisitions transfers revaluation retirement and disposal per IFRS.
• Prepare monthly capital asset schedules depreciation and reconciliations.
• Monitor CAPEX asset utilization and financial reporting accuracy.
• Supervise asset verification tagging inventory counts and ERP reconciliation.
• Ensure GL balances align with SCM ERP records.
• Manage inventory accounting controls and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and address findings.
• Develop and implement asset management policies and controls.
• Lead Fixed Assets Inventory team for timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the fixed asset register ensuring accurate recording classification capitalization and reconciliation of assets
• Oversee asset acquisitions transfers revaluation retirement and disposal in accordance with IFRS and organizational policies
• Prepare monthly capital asset continuity schedules depreciation reports and fixed asset reconciliation statements
• Monitor capital expenditure CAPEX asset utilization and financial reporting accuracy
• Supervise physical asset verification asset tagging inventory counts and reconciliation of physical records with ERP data
• Ensure accurate reconciliation between General Ledger balances and inventory SCM ERP records
• Manage inventory accounting controls investigate discrepancies and coordinate periodic stock verification
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
• Develop and implement asset management policies procedures and internal controls
• Lead and supervise the Fixed Assets Inventory team ensuring accurate and timely reporting

Requirements

• CA / CPA / CFA / MBA in Finance.
• Minimum 15 years of accounting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in Fixed Assets & Inventory management.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the hospital/healthcare sector.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the GCC.
• Strong experience managing high-volume fixed assets and inventory using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, asset capitalization, depreciation, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be available to mobilize within the specified timeline and meet Qatar residency/employment requirements.
