Job summary

Ooredoo Qatar seeks a senior leader to drive enterprise automation, guiding vision, governance, and delivery of scalable digital workflows. You will lead a team of automation specialists, partner with IT, HR, Finance and Operations, and champion change across the organisation.

The role focuses on transforming manual processes into accessible digital solutions, with emphasis on security, governance, and measurable efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecom, computer & communications, or electrical & electronics engineering.
• 10+ years in a similar role in IT/automation/digital transformation.
• 5+ years IT, digital transformation, or automation experience.
• Experience in telecom/engineering domain.
• Proficient in low-code/no-code tools.
• Hands-on with RPA and enterprise integration.
• Knowledge of governance, compliance, and data security.
• Ability to lead teams and mentor.
• Stakeholder engagement and translating business needs into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define automation vision and roadmap in line with organizational goals.
• Influence senior stakeholders to adopt automation as a core enabler.
• Lead change management for digital workflows and platforms.
• Guide a team of automation specialists toward innovation and accountability.
• Set performance objectives, provide coaching, and support career development.
• Oversee design, development, and deployment of automated workflows across functions.
• Establish governance for compliance, security, and operational integrity.
• Monitor performance metrics and optimise automation assets.
• Act as trusted advisor to business units, translating challenges into automation opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops to identify high-impact use cases.
• Ensure solutions are user-centric and aligned with priorities.
• Vendor & stakeholder management; collaborate across IT, HR, Finance, Operations.
• Transform manual processes into digital workflows and ensure interfaces are intuitive.
