Job summary

RetailHub Sourcing seeks a seasoned Head Baker for our Al-Rayyan bakery in Qatar. You will oversee daily operations, lead a high-volume production, and ensure quality of breads, pastries, and baked goods. English fluency required; Arabic is a plus.

The role offers a contract arrangement with monthly salary of 1200 USD and includes accommodation. Responsibilities include recipe development, staff training, inventory control, equipment maintenance, and ensuring health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a baker in a professional setting.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an asset).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise staff effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the baking process, from ingredient preparation to final product presentation
• Create and develop new recipes for breads, pastries, and other baked goods
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in all baked goods
• Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to meet production demands
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
• Monitor baking equipment for proper functioning and coordinate repairs when necessary
