Job summary

PromoQ is seeking a Hairdresser in Doha, Qatar. The role involves performing professional cuts, styles, braids, up-dos, blow waves and chemical services while maintaining salon standards and client satisfaction.

You will train in salon-specific hair and scalp services, uphold sanitation, and actively promote treatments and retail products to clients.

Job description

The Hairdresser performs professional cuts, styles, braids, up styles, blow waves, chemical services and therapeutic hair and scalp treatments. She must possess and maintain knowledge of current hairstyles and trends, excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in the salon's specific hair and scalp services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent professional hair treatments in accordance with salon protocols and accepted certification practices;
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amount of product(s);
  
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products;
  
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed the salon's policies and procedures;
• Perform prep work and properly clean and restock work area as required;
  
• Actively promote the salon, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available;
• Handle clients questions and concerns professionally and courteously;
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by clients ensuring complete client satisfaction;
  
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment;
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings;

• Assist in all areas of salon operation as requested by management.
