Job summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA in Doha is seeking an enthusiastic recreation attendant to welcome guests, explain facilities, and assist with equipment rentals and activities. You will supervise pools and beaches, ensure safety, and maintain clean, well-stocked areas for guest enjoyment.

In this role you will help organize events, support children's programs and fitness activities, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and explain available recreational facilities and activities.
• Provide information about pool rules, fitness center usage, sports courts, beach activities, or resort programs.
• Assist guests with equipment rentals and reservations.
• Answer questions and respond to guest requests professionally.
• Supervise recreational areas such as pools, beaches, gyms, playgrounds, and sports facilities.
• Ensure guests follow safety rules and facility guidelines.
• Report hazards, accidents, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Set up and store recreational equipment (bicycles, kayaks, sports gear, towels, etc.).
• Inspect equipment for damage and arrange repairs when needed.
• Maintain inventory of recreation supplies.
• Assist in organizing and conducting recreational activities, games, tournaments, and events.
• Help with children's programs, fitness classes, or entertainment activities when assigned.
• Prepare activity areas before and after events.
• Keep recreation areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Arrange towels, chairs, umbrellas, and other guest amenities.
• Ensure facilities meet hotel cleanliness and safety standards.
• Monitor guest safety in recreation areas.
• Administer basic first aid if trained and authorized.
• Follow emergency procedures and assist during incidents.
• Maintain attendance logs and activity records.
• Process equipment rentals and returns.
• Complete reports related to incidents, guest feedback, or daily operations.
• Assisted guests with recreational activities and facility usage.
• Maintained cleanliness and safety of pool, beach, and fitness areas.
• Organized recreational programs and special events for hotel guests.
• Monitored equipment inventory and coordinated maintenance needs.
• Delivered excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
