Job summary

Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel By Tivoli is seeking a diligent Dry Cleaner to clean, press and manage guest garments, uniforms and hotel linens to hotel quality standards. You will ensure timely laundry services while maintaining hygiene and guest satisfaction.

The role requires experience in hotel laundry, ability to operate laundry equipment, and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical fitness is needed for standing and handling loads.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel laundry or dry-cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of fabric care and stain-removal techniques.
• Ability to operate laundry and pressing equipment.
• Good attention to detail and time management.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods and lift laundry loads.

Responsibilities

• Operate dry-cleaning, washing, drying, and pressing machines.
• Clean and press guest clothing, staff uniforms, and hotel linens.
• Inspect garments for stains, damage, or special handling instructions.
• Apply stain-removal treatments using proper chemicals and techniques.
• Sort items according to fabric type, color, and cleaning method.
• Fold, package, and deliver cleaned garments to guests or departments.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Ensure proper usage and storage of laundry chemicals.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Handle guest requests professionally and promptly.
• Keep records of guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders.
