Job summary

QatarYello is recruiting a Group CFO to lead the finance function for a prominent regional diversified conglomerate in Qatar. You will craft and execute the organisation's financial strategy, oversee planning, budgeting and reporting, and partner with the executive team on strategic decisions that shape growth and profitability.

The role requires ACA/CFA/CPA qualification, a proven restructuring track record, experience managing EU operations, and strong capital restructuring capabilities.

Qualifications

• A professional qualification such as ACA, CFA or CPA is required.
• Proven track record in restructuring is mandatory.
• Experience of managing operations in the EU is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong capital restructuring experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation's financial strategies and policies.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Lead and manage the accounting and finance team to achieve organisational goals.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance to optimise profitability.
• Provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making at the executive level.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
• Drive cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives across the organisation.
