Job summary

Vistas Global is seeking an experienced, CPA-qualified Senior Accountant in Doha with strong expertise in financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will manage high-volume transactions, ensure financial accuracy, and maintain compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements while working with cross-functional teams to support timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA qualification is mandatory.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Experience in the insurance sector is highly preferred.
• Candidates from banking, money exchange, retail, or other high-volume transaction environments will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and internal controls.
• Proven experience handling high-volume financial transactions and complex reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Strong financial accounting and reporting expertise.
• Excellent reconciliation and internal control skills.
