Job summary

NTU International A/S seeks Technical & Engineering Experts specializing in grid, storage, and PPAs. Candidates bring strong electrical engineering foundations with proven work in power systems, renewable energy integration, and energy storage.

Experience with EU/IFI-financed energy projects is a plus. Selected experts join an on-demand pool to support short-term assignments across clean energy projects in the EU-MENA region, contributing to technical due diligence, grid code development, and

Qualifications

University degree in electrical/energy engineering or related technical discipline.
Experience in electricity grids, power systems, renewables, energy storage and/or PPAs.
Experience with design/assessment/implementation of clean energy infrastructure.
Knowledge of grid integration, storage solutions, power system planning and standards.
Desirable experience in the MENA region.
Experience with EU-funded or IFI-financed energy projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise on electricity transmission and distribution systems.
Support renewable energy integration and grid modernisation initiatives.
Assess grid capacity, flexibility, stability and interconnection requirements.
Provide technical advice on battery and other energy storage technologies.
Support feasibility studies for renewable energy and clean technology projects.
Advise on technical and commercial aspects of PPAs.
Support development of technical standards, grid codes and connection requirements.
Conduct technical due diligence and support project preparation and implementation.
Provide technical inputs to clean energy strategies and investment programmes.
