Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar, seeks a seasoned Logistics Officer to oversee export and import operations for a manufacturing facility. You will ensure compliant, cost-effective international logistics, manage customs clearance, shipping documentation, container tracking, and freight coordination.

The role requires strong Qatar Customs knowledge, experience handling large volumes of container shipments, and the ability to coordinate with freight forwarders and brokers to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in logistics and international trade operations.
• Experience managing high volumes of containerized import/export shipments.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree as stated in education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage export/import logistics cycle including shipping, customs clearance, and documentation.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers.
• Monitor container utilization, shipping schedules, and freight costs.
• Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, finished products, and equipment.
• Maintain logistics records for audits and compliance.
