Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CITP or similar are highly valued.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in import operations, international logistics, or trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire import process ensuring compliance with all international trade regulations and customs laws
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize import costs and supplier relationships
• Manage freight forwarders customs brokers and other logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Negotiate favourable terms and contracts with international suppliers and service providers
