Job summary

Employment seeks a General Counsel with a US bar and 5–10 years of experience to lead in-house legal across DTC compliance, hedge fund subscriptions, and cross-border structuring. You will report to the CEO and manage external counsel, operating with high autonomy in a global, remote role.

The position offers a competitive compensation package up to USD 220k base plus up to 10% annual performance bonus, with comprehensive benefits and a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active US bar.
• 5–10 years of legal experience, mix of law firm and in-house roles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple outside counsel relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own critical legal domains across DTC compliance, hedge fund documentation, and cross-border structuring.
• Lead audits and compliance reviews and report to CEO.
• Negotiate fund side letters and coordinate cross-border asset protection structures.
• Operate with high autonomy across multiple jurisdictions.
