Job summary

Ooredoo Group in Doha, Qatar seeks an Associate Director - Cloud Infrastructure & Workplace Solutions to shape the technology strategy across the group. You will bridge group vision with OpCo execution, modernizing core infrastructure and enabling scalable, secure environments.

You will collaborate with Technology Directors, drive roadmaps for hybrid/multi-cloud setups (AWS, Azure, GCP), and lead governance, standards, and digital workplace initiatives.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of tech leadership in telecom or IT environments.
• Experience with multi-cloud, AI infrastructure and digital workplace tools.
• Proven ability to drive strategy from group level to OpCos.
• Strong vendor and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive global IT Cloud, Infrastructure, and Modern Workplace roadmaps.
• Establish architectural principles, technology standards, and governance processes across OpCos.
• Lead GPU/accelerated computing strategy and AI infrastructure implementation.
• Oversee OpCo infrastructure programs, performance reviews, and technical support.
