Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a skilled Surveying Technician to join our Doha team. You will assist with land surveys, data collection, and map/data production, ensuring accuracy and quality across projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in surveying, proficiency with AutoCAD/ArcGIS, and strong math skills. Outdoor work in varying weather is required; biometric passport preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a surveying technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and ArcGIS software.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to use advanced measuring tools.
• Biometric passport preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surveyors in conducting land surveys using GPS, total stations, and level instruments.
• Collect data on land features, boundaries, topography, and other relevant information.
• Use software programs to create maps and reports based on collected data.
• Perform calculations to determine property boundaries and areas.
• Ensure accuracy of survey measurements by calibrating equipment and checking data.
• Assist with drafting legal documents related to surveys.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain detailed records of all survey data collected.
