Job summary

India Abroad in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is seeking a Gardener Supervisor to oversee garden maintenance across multiple sites.

You will lead a team of gardeners, schedule daily tasks, monitor plant health, manage inventory, train staff and ensure safety while delivering high-quality landscapes.

Accommodation is provided; the role requires at least 5 years in a similar role and strong communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Gardener/Gardener Supervisor role.
• Strong knowledge of plant care, soil management, irrigation, pests, and fertilization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily tasks for the gardening team.

Gardener Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gardener Supervisor to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Gardener Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and care of gardens and landscapes in various locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of gardeners and ensure that they are performing their duties efficiently and effectively
• Plan and schedule daily tasks for the gardening team
• Monitor the health of plants and make recommendations for their care
• Maintain inventory of gardening tools, equipment, and supplies
• Train new employees on proper gardening techniques
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed by the gardening team
• Communicate with clients to understand their specific gardening needs and preferences
• Create work schedules for the team based on client requirements and seasonal changes
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all gardens are well-maintained and meet client expectations
• Provide guidance on landscape design and make improvements as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Gardener or Gardening Supervisor
• In-depth knowledge of plant care, soil management, irrigation systems, pest control, and fertilization methods
• Experience with landscaping design and maintenance is preferred
• Ability to lead a team effectively and provide clear instructions for tasks at hand
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders
• Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail with a passion for creating beautiful gardens

Salary

The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
