Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a forward-deployed Full Stack Software Engineer to design and deliver AI-enabled full-stack applications for public sector clients.

You will work directly with government and public sector counterparts, building scalable solutions that integrate AI models with UI and backend services. You will collaborate with design, product, and data teams, deploy to cloud environments, and travel up to two weeks per month to client offices for feedback and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of post-graduation, full-stack engineering experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Ability to architect scalable, production-grade applications for client infrastructures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-facing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with public sector clients to scope, collect feedback and implement solutions for complex problems.
• Architect production-grade applications that integrate AI models with full-stack frameworks.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure in cloud environments, ensuring security, scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with design, product and data teams to align with the broader technical architecture.
• Spend up to two weeks per month in client offices for feedback and delivery.
