Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide 5-star Food & Beverage service in premium lounges following Qatar Airways standards.

• Assist premium customers with queries in a friendly, timely manner.
• Work with lounge staff to ensure seamless service and stock par levels.

Job description

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as a Food and Beverage Attendant who is responsible or offering 5-star Food & Beverage service in all premium lounges as per Qatar Airways standards and in line with local customs and practices. Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to premium customers while maintaining Safety, Quality, and Service Standards, with emphasis on increasing brand value at all times.

Operational:

Have a good understanding of Premium Hub Lounge standards and procedures / food and beverage offerings and be able to assist premium customer queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner

Deliver exceptional products and services in all areas of the Food and Beverage Operation.

Maintain Food and Beverage quality and standards at all times.

Create moments of magic to surprise and delight customers.

Ensure that mise en place is completed shift to shift and during service in order to provide seamless service.

Assist in picking up all required stocks, including linen, beverage, dry goods and others and maintain par levels.

Undertake general or special duties as requested by the Lounge management.

Attend and be actively involved in daily team briefings, ensuring that all rules, regulations and procedures are followed.

Perform daily shift requirements as per standard operating procedures in all areas of the Food and Beverage areas.

Ensure highest level of product knowledge is maintained and communicated to customers during service.

F&B Attendant will be required to work closely with other Airline staff (Culinary | FOH | Support services) and expected to cooperate with and respect all staff members in order to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Provide exceptional customer service to ensure visual appearance of the Food and Beverage areas are of the highest standard by observing and reporting any un-serviceability of equipment, furniture or fittings.

Ensure exceptional standards in hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.

Qualification

About you:

High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 1 year of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with no prior job-related experience.

Passion for Food & Beverage and delivering an outstanding service

Strong attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills

Customer centric/creative/solution oriented and have eye to detail

Positive attitude/excellent team player

A high level of personal presentation and grooming

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work well with a diverse team

Command of English language

Preferred

4-5 Star Hotel / Airline lounges experience, High end Fine Dining Restaurant

Minimum 2 years of Job-related experience
