Job summary

Rosewood Doha seeks hospitality professionals to join our wellness-focused team. You will anticipate guests’ needs and deliver personalized service within our spa and wellness facilities.

Key duties include greeting guests, guiding wellness routines, ensuring cleanliness, stocking towels and supplies, and supporting the Director of Wellness and Fitness Supervisor as required. This role offers a luxury environment with strong emphasis on teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs and provide personal service with attentiveness.
• Greet guests and check in as needed while maintaining positive guest relations.
• Follow wellness/fitness opening procedures and ensure facilities are clean and stocked.
• Maintain changing rooms, toilets, and wellness areas in good order.
• Keep towels, robes, and supplies stocked; manage deliveries and orders.
• Assist Director of Wellness and Fitness Supervisor with assigned tasks.
• Register lost and found items as needed and close areas at end of day.

Your Role:

General Duties

• Anticipate guests’ needs by being observant, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests at all times with an emphasis on personal service.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times and resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction is ensured reporting any issues to the Director of Wellness.
• Follow Wellness/Fitness opening procedures, greeting guests upon arrival and check-in guests where necessary inspecting the Wellness/Fitness area making sure it is fully stocked, clean and tidy regularly throughout the day.
• Stock and maintain cleanliness of changing rooms, toilets fitness/wellness areas.
• Ensure all documentation on fitness equipment checks, cleaning and Health & Safety is completed in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain towel/linen, robe supplies and ensure the shower area is well stocked, clean, hygienic and safe for guest use.
• Make sure there are sufficient guest supplies and amenities available for use such as water, fruits, towels, collecting deliveries and ordering is organized.
• Assist with other wellness job functions as assigned by the Director of Wellness, Assistant Director of Wellness or Fitness Supervisor.
• Ensure items lost and found are registered as lost property in accordance with company procedure.
• Follow closing procedures and ensure that all areas are left clean, tidy and fully stocked ready for guests’ use.

Fitness & Sports Related Duties

• Assists guests in the fitness area with fitness related issues.
• Ensure a safe workout environment through constant circulation of the weight and cardio floors.
• Be able to answer basic fitness questions and have knowledge of equipment and proper workout technique.
• Be available to manage the fitness desk; check out equipment and answer questions as needed.
• Keep the fitness floor clean and make sure all weights and equipment/benches are in their proper place.
• Clean equipment according to the assigned zone area/schedule and report to Assistant Spa Manager
• Enforce all building policies and procedures, such as proper dress code for all users.
