Job summary

Place Vendome is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Senior Operations Manager in safe, efficient day‑to‑day mall operations. You will coordinate facilities management, MEP services, housekeeping, security, parking, waste management, tenant operations and customer areas, and you will follow up actions through to closure.

The role requires coordinating with Facilities and Engineering teams, raising work orders in CAFM/CMMS, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Property Management or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant mall operations experience.
• Working knowledge of CAFM/CMMS platforms and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Qatar regulatory requirements including Civil Defence and Municipality is an advantage.
• A valid Qatar driving licence is preferred where regular movement between operational areas is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine mall inspections and record findings, following actions to closure.
• Coordinate cleaning, security, MEP, parking, landscaping, pest control and waste‑management services.
• Monitor operational readiness before opening, during trading hours and at closing, escalate risks.
• Assist with duty‑management coverage, incidents, emergencies, special events and peak trading periods.
• Coordinate access, permits, shutdowns, inspections and minor repairs to minimize disruption to mall operations.
• Maintain orderly maintenance logs, asset information and warranties.
• Prepare concise daily, weekly and monthly reports covering incidents, inspections, work orders and contractor performance.

Education

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Property Management or a related discipline.
