Job summary

Woopel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar, is seeking a skilled Handyman/General Maintenance Worker to join our team. You will perform maintenance and repairs across buildings, facilities, and equipment, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Applicants should have proven hands-on maintenance experience, strong English communication, and the ability to troubleshoot independently. The role requires physical fitness and flexibility to work weekends or evenings when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Handyman or General Maintenance Worker.
• Good English communication; Malayalam preferred.
• Skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general repair.
• Able to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Must have a valid visa for employment in Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify issues.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines.
• Replace light bulbs and fixtures as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests from tenants or management.
• Work with contractors and vendors for larger repairs or projects.
