Job summary

Airswift, a global manpower provider, is sourcing a SHES Lead (Fabrication) for a major LNG operator in Qatar. The role is a 36-month contract at Ras Laffan fabrication yard, with a 6‑day week and 10‑hour days on site.

The role focuses on delivering SHES requirements for offshore fabrication, leading safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with project procedures while coordinating with PMT and contractor SHES teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in safety-related fields; NEBOSH Diploma considered equivalent.
• NEBOSH National/International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
• SHES management related qualification (NVQ Level 5 or BSI Level 6).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fabrication, assembly, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and load‑out phases with on‑site SHES leadership.
• Ensure compliance with SHES procedures and regulatory standards on the fabrication yard.
• Lead daily safety inspections and PTW reviews; monitor contractor SHES performance.
• Provide SHES-related training and mentoring to contractor personnel and company staff.
• Report SHES performance metrics to the SHES Head and support incident investigations.
