Job summary

Nexans in Mesaieed, Qatar is seeking a Sales Export Manager to shape export sales across markets. You will develop and execute export strategies, grow key accounts, and identify new opportunities while ensuring our products meet market needs and competitive positioning.

The role requires strong sales background, experience in cables/utilities/oil & gas is a plus, and deep understanding of Middle East markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience in cables, utilities, or oil & gas is a strong plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Middle Eastern markets and business landscape.
• Strong background in sales with a proven track record of developing and closing opportunities.
• Customer-centric mindset and strong market awareness.
• Ability to work across global teams with operational excellence and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver export sales development plans based on past performance, company strategy, and market trends.
• Manage and control sales activities aligned with defined objectives and targets.
• Participate in major contract discussions and negotiations with key customers.
• Create new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and customer follow-ups.
• Support key account relationships and ensure strong customer satisfaction.
• Serve as a bridge between sales, tendering, supply chain, and plant operations to ensure alignment on product availability, contract terms, and customer requirements.
• Keep management informed through structured weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
• Monitor competitors and market conditions — pricing, products, delivery schedules, and more.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, providing solutions and recommendations
