Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Electrical Planner/Designer to create and manage electrical schematics using EPLAN for Siemens-like projects. You will produce detailed drawings, BOMs, and support design reviews. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in industrial/oil & gas, and a valid EPLAN license.

Collaborate with global teams, ensure compliance with standards, and provide technical support through installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Planner/Designer in industrial or oil & gas projects.
Valid EPLAN software license is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and control panel design.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical design schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using EPLAN software.
Support project teams with accurate and timely design documentation.
Revise and update drawings to reflect engineering changes and site requirements.
Ensure compliance with international electrical standards and Siemens project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors for design validation.
Prepare BOMs and ensure correct integration with procurement and construction.
Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
